Something's Cooking At Claremont

Listeners heard what's on the menu for this year's Wirral Food and Drink Festival.

Andrew Pimbley from Claremont Farm on Old Clatterbridge Road joined Phil Rostance on the Coffee Club this week to preview the ever-popular event.

They talked about fresh home-grown Wirral produce, cheese, coffee, local beers, wine, sheep, taxis, buses and cider!

More than 46,000 people have paid a visit to the two-day festival since 2010.

This year, three-time Michelin Star chef Steven Doherty and Indian chef author Nisha Katona will make guest appearances over the Bank Holiday weekend (26th & 27th August).

There will be two live demonstration stages, live music stage, adult and child cookery workshops, farmers market, big tops, food and farming tent, good life marquee, the sheep show and general a fantastic family and food.
