Port Sunlight marked 125 years since it was founded with a massive festival - and we were there to make sure our listeners didn't miss out!

The charity had a presence at two major festivals in the local area.

Showers dominated the open garden day in the hospice grounds but thankfully a new addition to the station's armoury left our volunteers high and dry.

The Mayor popped in to chat to patients about his role - and that of his namesake across the water.

He praised the area's public collections following another visit to Port Sunlight with the BBC One programme.

Dave, who joined with the station in 1988, has become the charity's new treasurer.
