Heading To The Highlands

A hospital chaplain has told Radio Clatterbridge listeners how he's heading to the highlands for charity.

Rev Chris Girvan is hoping to raise plenty of cash for Clatterbridge Hospitals League of Friends next month.

He told presenter Dave Adams how he is undertaking the West Highland Way walk from Glasgow to Fort William.

The 96-mile trek will take him across rolling hills, moorland and mountains.

Chris's epic hike starts on Sunday 6th July and ends on Sunday 13 July, averaging 12 miles per day.
